Fluoroscopy Radiation Protection Training (Non-CC)

This course will provide the learner with necessary information to ensure patient and occupational safety through the proper use of fluoroscopic imaging equipment and related radiation protection. Although this course was designed to meet the fluoroscopic training requirements of the Ohio Department of Health and the Florida Department of Health, the course provides valuable information intended for all physicians, technologists, nurses, and any other members of the clinical team who may be involved in fluoroscopically guided procedures.

The course and content were created by a team of imaging and radiation safety experts at the Cleveland Clinic. It should take approximately 2–hrs and is accredited for 2–hrs of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM

  • Differentiate between the two types of effects observed from radiation exposure
